What’s the deal with the sippy cups pictured above? They don’t work. In fact, the only kind that we have found that actually work are the Playtex brand.

I love to try new things and give different companies business and so I have tried them all. Also the Sesame Street ones are so cute! But listen super parents, don’t fall for the cute thing because they don’t work.

“How can a sippy cup not work?” You ask wisely.

I’ll tell you how.  Your kid cannot drink out of them if the little plastic stopper thing which makes them not leak and spill is inserted. They will suck and suck and suck but nothing will come out. And if you don’t put the little plastic thing in, well, the cup will leak and spill.

The bigger question question is how do these companies produce and sell sippy cups that don’t work? Philippe and I ask ourselves this question as we either A. Recycle the brand-new ones we just bought Or B. Return them to Walgreens.

So weigh in super parents. Have you had this experience? Are we missing something?
