A Prana Power Yoga student who’s a school teacher told me a great story today that I just have to share with you. After she told me the story I asked her to take 2 minutes to write in her own words what went down. Here are her words:

 

“So. .. I am in my classroom, and we are transitioning to the next activity.  Some kids are doing one activity at their own pace.  Another set of kids are ready to move on.  In the past this kind of transition has not been so smooth.  However, I have been doing yoga and meditation with the kids everyday for the past several weeks.  As I watch the kids transition, I notice how calm they are.  There are no kids who are working a little slower (just at their own pace really) trying to race to catch up with the other kids who are done.  I am not really even trying to rush things along, which I sometimes do.  It just kind of flows.  It feels natural.  It feels like I have always wanted my classroom to feel, calm and orderly, but this time I don’t have to force it.  It just happens.”

 

Well, I can’t say it any better than that.
