“Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself… ‘How did I get through all of that?’”

“Hope is the most exciting thing in life and if you honestly believe that love is out there, it will come. And even if it doesn’t come straight away there is still that chance all through your life that it will.”

Josh Hartnett

“All it takes is one bloom of hope to make a spiritual garden.”

Terri Guillemets

“Hope is the feeling that the feeling you have isn’t permanent.”

Jean Kerr

“Hope is not a dream but a way of making dreams become reality.”

“Once you choose hope, anything’s possible.”

Christopher Reeve

Valentines Day.

What do those words bring up for you?

Perhaps it’s a joyful memory of giving and receiving Valentines as a kid.

Or being left out of Valentine sharing.

Perhaps it’s a vision of hearts and candy and love.

Or feeling heart-broken.

Perhaps it’s thoughts of the person you love.

Or sadness about the person you loved, and lost.

Perhaps it’s excitement and hope and promise about a person who you hope to bring into your life—a “crush,” if you will.

Or despair that this person just ain’t interested.

There are many sides to the Valentine, we see, if we are awake and aware.

Just because this day means something to you doesn’t mean it means that to someone else.

As it is with everything. Everyone has his or her truth. And honoring that truth is an important step as you walk your path with integrity and grace.

The caveat, the really cool thing, is that “truth” is only a thought we keep thinking.

So, in effect, we can actually change our truths—change our reality—with the of-so-effective tools of our thoughts and the Law of Attraction.

Because our thoughts—that thought you had just now—create our reality. So by deliberately choosing a thought that feels better, we are effectively and immediately changing our life. For the better. Always.

How to do it?

Simply choose a thought that feels better.

It doesn’t have to be going from “I’m so depressed that I’m alone this Valentines Day—again!” to “Today is the best day ever!”

That’s a huge leap, and unnecessary.

But you could, for example, go from, “I’m so depressed that I’m alone this Valentines Day—again!” to “Well, I’ve been hearing about this Law of Attraction and that if I think about what I DO want and not what I DON’T want (and therefore what I’m now living in the relationship department), I will draw those things that I DO want to me. So maybe I’ll just give this a try.”

Yes, there’s a little HOPE in that statement. And that HOPE will get you far.

That hope will get you far.

So whether it’s Valentines Day or a job you want but don’t have yet or a housing situation you want but don’t have yet or a body you want but don’t have yet or the good health you want but don’t have yet…try it out, and see.

It works.

And everything Prana is the proof that it does. ;)

“When the world says, ‘Give up,’
Hope whispers, ‘Try it one more time.’”

“I decided to start anew, to strip away what I had been taught.”

Georgia O’Keeffe

“I’ve chosen my life – now I want to start living it.”

Stephenie Meyer

Super-mom Jen Murray:
I am so grateful to be a mom to twins Laney and Danny(10) and my youngest Jake(6).  My children have taught me what unconditional love truly is. Being a mom has brought so much joy to my life. As I help and watch them grow, they in turn help me grow!
Constantly growing and changing I decided last year after practicing yoga for some years to do a teacher training program through Prana Power Yoga.  The benefits that I gained from practicing has helped me get through so much that I wanted to share that with others.  Now I am able to do just that.  Since graduating in April 2012, I immediately started teaching and sharing my love for yoga and all its benefits.  Through our own breath we can self soothe.  It sounds easy yet we are all faced with this “simple” challenge.
Loving what you do and being able to do what you love is a true gift.  My family and I benefit from this.  My kids notice a difference….especially my very intuitive Laney who always keeps me in check.   When I told Laney I was writing this blog for Super-Mom.  I read her what I wrote and she said “ You should put in that you yell at your kids.” Ha….I chuckled at her honest response and said you’re right.  I do yell at my kids when necessary sometimes even when its not necessary.  I also love them unconditionally and continue to work on loving myself unconditionally even if I yell at my kids ;)
I will continue to live my life the best that I can, making mistake and perfecting things as I go but always doing my best. I feel honored to be a part of such an amazing community that I found through yoga.  Forever thankful for my children, my family, and my yoga.    Without them all I would not be able to feel so grounded, supported, and loved.
